Oklahoma City - Police said a letter that's been raising eyebrows across the Oklahoma City area is a hoax.
The letter, which purports to be from a group called the United White Knights of the Ku Klux Klan, begins with a greeting to "fellow white Oklahomans and Christians." It arrived in the mailboxes of metro businesses and newspapers this week.
It contains a number of racially insensitive messages, including a line that says, "We want to reassert white supremacy through terrorism and intimidation."
The Oklahoma City Police Department said the letter does not appear to be from any authentic organization.
