JZ Knight's day in court pushed back a month

The Olympian, Washington/February 16, 2008

A court hearing in the lawsuit pitting two Thurston County spiritual leaders has been moved from Feb. 29 to March 28.

The hearing in Thurston County Superior Court is on a defense motion to dismiss the case or make a ruling without a trial.

The case involves a lawsuit brought by JZ Knight, leader of the Ramtha School of Enlightenment in Yelm, against WhiteWind Weaver, leader of the Rainier-based Art of Life Coaching program.

A lawyer for Weaver said the delay was because of schedule conflicts for Knight and her attorney. A trial is scheduled for Sept. 8.
