Tom Cruise is Scientology's most bankable star - literally

Sources say he has movie studios pay for two to three members of the faith to travel with him and he is now "consolidating" his offices so that every member of his staff is a devoted Scientologist.

In addition, one insider notes, "Every time he is on a movie set, Tom insists on having a certain microphone, which just happens to be patented by Scientology. They make millions off of him."

Cruise's new rep, who is also his sister and a Scientologist, LeeAnne Devett, said: "Tom works only with the best people in this business and whoever he hires brings their best equipment and people." Devett claimed our inquiries were "bigoted."
