(TOKYO) -- The wife of AUM Shinrikyo leader Shoko Asahara, sentenced to seven years in jail last May for conspiring with her husband and cult members in the 1994 murder of a dissident AUM member, pleaded not guilty on the first day of her appeal Thursday at the Tokyo High Court.
