Jesus group's benefit battle

Chronicle and Echo/February 2, 1995

A cash row with a local council over a housing ruling looks set to end up in high court. Rent payments to Jesus Fellowship commune members were axed by Daventry district council in the autumn of 1993. The Council's original decision has been upheld on 3 occasions. The date for the High Court appeal has yet to be set.
