Cult killer Charles Manson - desperate to have child with bride - hopes to smuggle sperm out of prison says son

The traditional method is a nonstarter for Manson, serving a life sentence for the terrifying two-night killing spree that left actress Sharon Tate and six others dead in 1969. Prison officials have denied the newlyweds any conjugal visits, and the couple is under intense scrutiny by correction officers during Afton (Star) Burton’s weekly visits to the Corcoran State Prison in California.

The twisted “father” of the murderous Manson family wants to become a daddy one more time.

Notorious cult killer Charles Manson, at age 80, is desperate to sire a child with his new 26-year-old bride — and willing to go to any lengths to get her pregnant, according to his son.

“I understand that somehow he hopes to smuggle his sperm out of the prison,” said Matthew Roberts, who learned 10 years ago that the mastermind of the Tate-LaBianca murders was his father.

“He is a very resourceful man, so he may have other plans too.”

“No consummation has taken place as of yet,” said a prison spokesman. “I believe they do get to hug.”

Roberts, 47, says he’s on board with his father’s plans — and even hopes to raise the child as his own, with Star as his co-parent.

The son of Manson said his intention was to ensure the baby was raised to reject the evils in the family bloodline.

“I’ve always wanted to raise a child, but for the purpose of raising a child and loving that child,” he said. “So I could be the person in the outside world to provide a father figure for the son or daughter.”

According to Roberts, he was conceived when Manson raped his mother during an LSD-fueled orgy. The killer now wants to take another try at parenthood.

“Charles has wanted to be a father for many years,” Roberts said. “Part of the whole thing with him marrying Star is that he would love to have kids and he was really waiting for someone to come along and provide that.

“Star is the woman that Charles wants for that.”

Roberts initially denounced Burton as a gold-digger interested in the money made by the incarcerated Manson through Web sales of his music and artwork.

But now he believes their love is true, and supports Manson’s planned parenthood.

“I do feel like Star and Charlie are communicating with each other in some way on a higher level,” he said.

Manson has been behind bars since his arrest for the August 1969 murders of pregnant actress Tate and four others at her Beverly Hills home, followed by the execution a day later of businessman Leno LaBianca and his wife, Rosemary.

“Nothing that happened in his past can be approved of,” said Roberts. “However, Charlie does have the right to father a child. He, as a human being, deserves to fulfill his right to procreate and produce a child.

Manson and Burton received a marriage license in November, giving the couple 90 days to tie the knot. According to Roberts, the two are now legally wed.

In yet another creepy twist, Roberts said he bought a piece of mountain property in California — a sprawling ranch where he would raise his half-sibling.

The Manson family famously housed members of their cult on the Spahn Ranch, a shabby former movie set in California.

“I like who I am and I’d like this genetic bloodline to be passed on and continue in this world,” Roberts said. “I think it would be a shame if it didn’t, and if Star is willing to do that with Charles, Star and I could raise the child together.”

Roberts acknowledged that he has developed a certain respect for the remorseless Manson over the decade since learning of their shared DNA.

“What fascinates me is he has never broken or wavered from his feelings of righteousness,” Roberts said.

Manson’s recent nuptials prompted Roberts to reestablish contact with his father for the first time in years. The two mainly chat on the telephone, but also exchange occasional letters, he said.

Roberts said the longtime inmate developed techniques to keep his mind alert and his sanity intact through meditation and other methods of his own invention.

“He’s a tough guy and has learned to adapt,” Roberts said. “He learned to chant for hours, which is a form of meditation.

“Other times, he will watch a cockroach for hours and think that he’s communicating with that cockroach.”
