Hamilton Country, Ohio -- A Cincinnati woman that pled guilty to stealing money from clients while working as a 'psychic' was sentenced to five years probation on Wednesday.
Sonia Marks, 50, is also ordered to pay back the $187,000 in restitution to the victims that are alive.
Marks worked under the alias 'Miss Ann' during her time in Hamilton County. In 1994, she was originally indicted in Hamilton County but fled to Oklahoma.
In November of last year, Marks was pulled over by Oklahoma deputies. According to an Oklahoma TV station KOKH, Marks told the officers she was born in Oklahoma but couldn't name the hospital she was born. She was arrested and extradited back to Hamilton County.
A Cincinnati Magazine salary guide from 1992 reported that Marks made $900,000, more than three times the amount of Bengals' General Manager Mike Brown.
The sentencing was delayed for a couple of hours on Wednesday after a fire alarm was pulled.
