The self-described messiah accused of sex crimes against minors will not be released on his own recognizance.
That is the word from the Union County magistrate.
However, the judge did cut 66-year-old Wayne Bent's bond from $500,000 to $55,000.
Although Bents public defender tried to enter a plea of not guilty...the judge says it was not appropriate at that time
Bent is charged with three counts of Criminal Sexual Contact of a minor and three counts of Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.
