Benny Hinn, the controversial televangelist and faith healer, will hold a two-day conference for aspiring ministers at the Georgia World Congress Center starting tonight.

Hinn says his Training for Ministry conference will teach attendees how to experience "anointed" worship and minister to others. Hinn is a charismatic leader who teaches followers that God speaks to people through miraculous healing and "talking in tongues."

The conference will be held at the Exhibit Hall C2 in the center. It starts at 7 p.m. Thursday and continues from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday. Registration is $25 per person, including children.

Hinn has attracted a global following through crusades that feature dramatic healing and ecstatic worship services. Critics, however, say his healings are staged and he lives an opulent lifestyle that contradicts the teachings of Jesus.
