Organization Structure of Sterling

December 1999
By a Sterling observer

Arthur Kasarjian (Justin Sterling) started the Sterling Institute of Relationship (SIR) has full control of the weekends (both men's and women's). Recently the SIR has had some rather large problems, apparently Justin's number one man and woman (Peter Rosomof and ????) have fallen out of the SIR, "wanting to go a different direction". These two people were the co-leader (second in command) of the weekends. It is my belief that Peter and ???? were paid for their efforts towards the weekends.

The SIR formed two organizations Men's Division (MD) and the Family of Women (FOW). These group are (believed by members) to be self controlled. The truth is that Justin has always and will always have control of these groups. Several organizations have spun from the Men's Division, the Nation of Men (NOM) and the most recent Line (or Lion, not certain which name is correct). The NOM and Line have obviously had some philosophical differences, otherwise they would still be the Men's Division.

The Family of Women and the Men's Division supply the volunteer teams to support the Men's and Women's weekends. These team leaders are equal counterparts of men and women. Various teams names are CORE, MA, Production, etc. This is where the 3 hour phone calls (/reference/ICSD30.html) are generated and additional weekly meetings. The workers must be 100% committed to the weekend and nothing can distract them from their "commitment". They take oaths that give up any rights they have as individuals for the "higher Purpose". This means that SIR comes first and all others (family, friends, school) come last.

The participants of the weekend are brought in by the marketing department (MD and FOW) officially anyone who has taken the weekend can send someone to the weekend. The Nation of Men and The Line are able to send men to the weekend. Within the MD and FOW they are trained to find candidates and bring them plus $600 to the weekends.

There is another weekend that scares me more than the other weekends, Young Women's Weekend. Let me see this is a weekend (similar to Justin's) for minors. They are these highly impressionable young women to take this theory and create future followers. As a parent I would never allow my daughter to attend this type of activity.

The International Community Service Day (ICSD) is closely tied to SIR; while it is reported to be a separate entity, it is not. The leaders for this organization are supplied by FOW and MD. The organization operates from the SIR headquarters (as far as I can tell). A majority of the MD and FOW members attend each ICSD (required). Every member of the FOW and MD must attend two days of ICSD a year to be a member of either group. The more you volunteer and become involved the higher in leadership you will become (also the more time you will loose). This is SIR's attempt to validate itself as an upstanding group. IT is unofficially used by the FOW and MD to recruit new member for the weekend. Again this is not an official activity for the ICSD, however SIR has filled these events with its marketing department. In reading many of the articles (/reference/ICSD2.html) on the ICSD, it amazes me that any community or school board would have anything to do with this organization. The ends does not justify the means. There are many qualified volunteer organizations that can be utilized to fulfill this need in our society.

Arthur Kasarjian has successfully fulfilled his higher purpose, to control a mass group of people and bring a healthy amount of money into his pocket. He has done this with volunteers, this keeps his overhead at almost nothing. Almost all of the proceeds go directly to Justin. He has also given his creation a friendly face with the ICSD.

I will give Sterling one complement, he has set up an elaborate method to extract money, with no accountability to the society in which he is eroding the youth and adult's vision of a successful relationship.
