Brad Pitt was "twinned" with a 15 year old girl and spent up to five hours a day in a sauna during his three year stint in Scientology, The Sun can reveal.
The Fight Club star was assigned the teen girl as a "buddy" to help each other get through the grueling classes and undertook what’s called the Purification Rundown, spending hours in the sauna to help make the body "pure", an ex-Portland member claimed. There is no suggestion of any wrongdoing by the actor.

Speaking out for the first time his former supervisor Michael Mallen also admitted how he "insulted the s**t out" of Brad and verbally abused him until he stormed out of the classroom.
Michael told The Sun: "Brad was doing the Therapeutic TRs course. TRs are short for Training Routines devised by Hubbard.
"The first TR involves you sitting across from another person with eyes closed for some time. Then you look at another person with eyes open for two hours.
"Once you pass that drill, you go into what's called bullbaiting. The 'coach' tries to get the student to react by pushing the student's 'buttons'.

Michael Mallen was Brad's former supervisor during his courses
"That’s what I did with Brad Pitt. I did it mercilessly, insulting the s**t out of him. His then girlfriend Juliette Lewis was there.
"He got so pi***d off, he walked out of the trailer and just split. Juliette had to rescue him; he just needed to cool off.
"I guess no one had bullbaited him before. I was going pretty hard on him, but that's the whole point, to get the person where they're no longer reacting and can comfortably be there.
"She got him back, talked to him. No one wants a celebrity to leave. If he hadn't come back, I'd have been in big trouble."
Brad completed courses and cleansing programs in Los Angeles and Portland between 1991 and 1993, while he was dating actress Juliette Lewis, 47, who remains in the Church to this day.
Rather than study the courses in the VIP rooms at the Los Angeles Celebrity Center, Brad wasn't as famous as he is now and had to make do with trailers in the parking lot.
Brad did his courses in trailers in the parking lot of the Celebrity Center
"When Brad Pitt came to the Celebrity Center around 1991, it was being renovated," Michael said.
"We were in trailers on what is now the parking lot. There were around eight trailers.
"So Brad, this cool looking guy, was brought in by Juliette, who was dating him at the time. He reminded me of James Dean, he had that look.
"He wasn’t that famous then, it was before Thelma and Louise came out. He was at the same place in his career as Juliette before she did Cape Fear with Robert De Niro.
"They were up and comers, so he had no problem being in a trailer. I don't think Tom Cruise would have ever been in a trailer except if it were on location for one of his films."
Another course Brad completed was TR-3, where the student asks the supervisor questions such as, ‘Do birds fly?’ or, ‘Do fish swim?’ If the supervisor doesn’t answer correctly, then the student will repeat the question, again and again.
Eventually, Brad graduated the course and then made a dig at Michael during his "victory speech".
"He got through it and we had a graduation ceremony where the students share their wins, and make a little speech," he said.
"Brad points to me and says: 'And I’d like to thank that son of a b***h for getting me through.' He had a smile on his face when he said it."
The last Michael knew about Brad’s involvement in Scientology, he said: "I heard he did the Purification Rundown in Portland.
"Looks like he decided he'd had enough around that time. They tried to get him back, but he never continued with Scientology.
Meanwhile another ex-follower, who wishes to remain anonymous, remembers Brad visiting the Scientology Celebrity Center in Portland rather than LA to avoid detection.
There, he was assigned a "twin", who was responsible for getting Pitt through his courses.
According to the ex-follower, the twin was around 15 years old and she was the daughter of two loyal Scientologists.
The source says Pitt and King did the Purification Rundown together, a program developed by Scientology founder L Ron Hubbard, which consists of high doses of vitamins, long saunas and exercise.
Hubbard claimed that drugs, toxins and radiation are sweated out of the body leaving it more pure yet it can be dangerous, say critics, especially for children.
The insider reveals: "I was being trained up to be a course supervisor, so was sent to Celebrity Center Portland for training.
"While I was there I met the teenage daughter of the Executive Director of a Portland-based Scientology company.
"One of the things she told me was that Brad Pitt, who was dating Scientologist Juliette Lewis at the time, did the Purification Rundown at Celebrity Center Portland. He did it there to keep out of the public eye.
"Since she was the daughter of an established Scientologist she was chosen to be Pitt’s twin.
The Scientology Celebrity Center, Hollywood, where Brad took some of his courses
"In the Church of Scientology, people are often paired and made responsible for getting each other through courses, so she sat in the sauna with Pitt every day for the month, or so, that it took to get through it.
"She was definitely in the sauna with him, but there was nothing bad about it.
"Her parents were both very involved and important around Portland Scientology.
"They would have wanted someone who would be safe to be around Pitt, who would present a positive face for Scientology. They seemed to think that she fit that. They were a lovely family, her dad was always smiling.
"It was around 1992 and she was about 15 when this happened."
According to Scientology records, Pitt completed his Therapeutic TRs in July 1991 and a ’Special course in human evaluation’ in May 1993.
Brad is believed to have left the Church around 1993 and has never gone back.
His former supervisor Michael left the Church for good in 2014 after four decades.
He's now a screenwriter and is in the process of turning his book on Scientology, entitled Brainwashed, into a movie.
He added: "I came out after 40 years. I wrote a screenplay called Brainwashed, which is a cautionary tale based on true events. My whole family never got in.
"They most likely wondered what was wrong with me and were happy when I left. Once you’re in, it takes a while to undo the thought reform. You’ve got to rewire your brain."
