The fur was flying at the Lexington Avenue Armory last night as animal-rights protesters briefly halted a Victoria's Secret fashion show being filmed to air on CBS next week.
Four members of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals leaped onto the runway as supermodels Giselle Bundchen, Naomi Campbell, Tyra Banks and Karolina were strutting their stuff.
Their target was Bundchen, said PETA spokeswoman Lisa Lange. The group is angry she has become the spokesmodel for a mink company.
One protester followed Bundchen all the way down the runway holding a sign reading, "Giselle: Fur Scum."
The sexy model, wearing a flamenco beaded miracle bra and a leather skirt over her thong, appeared unfazed, and the audience cheered as security nabbed the protesters.
Three protesters, Karla Waples, 25, Arathi Jayarem, 26, and Kayla Rae Worden, 41, were given disorderly-conduct summonses. The fourth was not charged.
