New Orleans -- Tangipahoa Parish deputies on Thursday placed additional charges on seven of the nine suspects arrested for their alleged involvement in the Hosanna Church sex abuse case.
Louis Lamonica, 45, was arrested May 16 by the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Department on two counts of aggravated rape of a juvenile and one count of crime against nature. Tangipahoa deputies have now booked him with one count of aggravated rape of a juvenile under 13, two counts of aggravated rape and two counts of aggravated incest.
Robbin Lamonica, 45, was arrested by the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Department May 19 on one charge of aggravated rape. Tangipahoa deputies have booked her with two counts of aggravated rape.
Patricia Pierson, 54, who was arrested May 23 on the charges of sexual battery and principle to aggravated rape of a juvenile, was booked with two additional counts of principle to aggravated rape.
Allen Pierson, 46, was arrested May 18 on one count of aggravated rape. Tangipahoa deputies have booked him with three additional counts of aggravated rape.
Paul Fontenot, 21, was arrested May 19 on one count of aggravated rape. He was booked with two additional counts of aggravated rape and one charge of aggravated incest.
Nicole Bernard was booked into the Tangipahoa Parish jail May 25 on one count of aggravated rape. She has since been booked with an additional count of aggravated rape.
Chris Labat, 24, was arrested May 17 on one count of aggravated rape. He was booked with two additional counts of aggravated rape, one count of failure to report child abuse and one count of malfeasance in office. According to deputies, more charges are expected against Labat.
According to the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office, Louis and Robbin Lamonica will remain in the Livingston Parish Jail due to jail space problems in the Tangipahoa Parish jail.
Nicole Bernard was taken to the St. Tammany Parish Jail Tuesday evening after she was involved in a fight with other inmates.
Chris Labat was taken to the Livingston Parish jail on May 18.
Austin Bernard, Paul Fontenot, Patricia Pierson and Allen Pierson remain in the Tangipahoa Parish Jail.
Lois Mowbray is free on $150,000 bond.
